Nightfalls can be one of the most challenging activities in Destiny 2 on higher difficulties. Luckily for Guardians, they come with rewards to match. Each week, at least one Nightfall weapon will be on rotation and can drop from Nightfall completions. Higher difficulties have better odds, and Guardians brave enough to face Grandmasters will get an Adept version of whatever weapon’s on tap that week.

The Grandmaster pool is surprisingly forgiving this season, too, outside of two difficult outliers. Players can expect Proving Grounds, The Insight Terminus, Warden of Nothing, The Corrupted, The Inverted Spire, and The Arms Dealer to make an appearance during Haunted.

For season 17, players can expect to see the return of two weapons that haven’t appeared in a bit: D.F.A. and Horror’s Least.

D.F.A., the Kinetic 140rpm hand cannon from the Tree of Probabilities Nightfall, is coming back without a Power Level cap and a fresh new perk pool to keep it in line with what players expect from a Year Five weapon. It’s a Kinetic 140rpm, however, meaning it has strong competition in the form of Fatebringer and Eyasluna.

Horror’s Least, on the other hand, is the pulse rifle from The Corrupted Nightfall, which had a chance to drop at the end of the Dreaming City activity. Much like D.F.A., it’s coming back with an overhauled perk pool—and, more importantly, without a Power Level cap as well, giving players another option of Arc pulse rifles to take in higher-level content.

In addition to the two weapons, Duty Bound, Silicon Neuroma, and The Hothead will make an appearance in the weapon pool. Two weapons left the pool in season 17, with The Comedian and The Palindrome sitting out of the rotation for now.
