ORIGIN
Ann Coulter is an American author, conservative commentator and lawyer. She’s also a radio and television personality. Coulter was born to parents Nell and John on December 8, 1961 in New York City. She has two older brothers, John and James. Coulter grew up in New Canaan, Connecticut, where she attended New Canaan High School. She completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University (1984), followed by her JD at the University of Michigan Law School (1988). She served as editor of The Cornell Review and The Michigan Law Review during college.

CAREER
Upon graduation, Coulter worked briefly as a law clerk for judge Pasco Bowman II in Kansas City. She later worked for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee, where she specialized in crime and immigration issues under Senator Spencer Abraham. Coulter was signed on as a legal correspondent for MSNBC in 1996. She was fired over controversial remarks against the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation. Coulter has since made appearance on CNN, Fox News and a number of radio and television talk shows. She was one of the roasters in Comedy Central’s 2016 roast of actor Rob Lowe. Her film credits include Fahrenhype 9/11 (2004) with Ron Silver, and Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2016) with Ian Ziering.

Coulter has authored twelve books to date. Her first publication, High Crimes and Misdemeanors: The Case Against Bill Clinton, was released in 1998 by Regnery Publishing. Other publications include Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right (2002), and Godless: The Church of Liberalism (2006). Coulter’s latest book, In Trump We Trust (2016), talks about Donald Trump and his 2016 bid for presidency. Coulter is also well known for her work as a columnist. She’s made contribution to Universal Press Syndicate, Human Events, and National Review Online.
